The seed house is pretty well built and the solar charger seems to keep the battery fully charged (mine gets 7-8 hours of direct sun a day but would likely be good with less).

Camera feeders fail when the lens sits where birds feel watched. This one is placed right: on my feeder, chickadees were feeding within a day and ignored it completely.

The seed house is pretty well built and the solar charger seems to keep the battery fully charged (mine gets 7-8 hours of direct sun a day but would likely be good with less).
Everything arrived without damage, everything is OK. The 2 small solar panels are sufficient to recharge the camera's battery, even when there are clouds or it's raining.
This is a great birdhouse, took a few days for the birds to get used to it. Set it all up easily, camera is nice and clear.
Brilliantly conceived. The birds are constantly entertaining. The booth is nicely made. Works very well. Perfect 👌
I like it, it's easy to install and the video quality is good. The solar panel is enough for the camera to operate autonomously. Mine only gets sunlight in the morning and is always at 100% charge.
How to set it up
No. Live view, notifications, and saving clips to a microSD card (sold separately) all work without one. There's an optional plan in the app if you'd rather keep videos online, but you never need it to enjoy your feeder.
Onto a microSD memory card that slots into the camera, or to the optional cloud plan. The card isn't in the box: add our 32GB card in the cart, or use any card you have up to 256GB.
No. Screw the mount to a tree, wall or fence, fill the feeder with any seed mix, and connect it to your home Wi-Fi with the free app. Most people are watching their first visitor the same day.
It connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, which nearly every home router provides. If the feeder is within range of where your phone gets Wi-Fi in the garden, you're set.
The solar roof keeps the battery topped up on its own. When it needs a boost, the camera pops out and charges indoors with a regular USB-C cable, the same kind most phones use. No ladder required.
It's built to stay outside year-round: weatherproof housing (IP66), rated from -10°C to 60°C.
Honestly, they'll probably try, and you'll get the video. The feeder isn't squirrel-proof; mounting it away from fences and branches they can jump from helps a lot.
Yes. Clips record sound, so you get their calls and songs along with the picture.
Cam720, free for iPhone and Android.
It's become the classic gift for parents and grandparents who love their garden. Setup is simple enough to do together over a cup of tea.
